Plot[]
SuperTed and Spotty go to find the lost Temple of the Incas, but Texas Pete, Bulk and Skeleton plan to beat them to it.
Full Synopsis[]
SuperTed, a very ordinary teddy bear and his friend Spotty are meeting with a museum curator who requests that they find the ancient lost temple of the Incas and recover the artifacts and treasure within to be put on display in his museum where it will be safe from thieves.
As SuperTed and Spotty depart to carry out the request and tell the curator to enjoy his siesta, unknown to them, Texas Pete and his two henchmen, Bulk and Skeleton, have arrived at the river shore near the temple and begin making their way through the underbrush to the temple, despite Skeleton's dislike of the flora after getting smacked by a tree branch and getting his face covered in moss. Bulk jokes that he likes the jungle. Skeleton pulls another tree branch which hits Bulk in the face, causing him to fall onto the ground. Tex orders him to get up again.
Spotty's rocket arrives overhead, scanning for the temple, but it is spotted by Tex and his crew. Tex immediately opens fire on it with his six shooters, and manages to cripple the Spotty Rocket, sending it careening towards the jungle below. With their rocket crippled, SuperTed has Spotty abandon ship, but Spotty falls out before putting on his rocket pack or his parachute, forcing SuperTed to say his magic word and transform into his superhero outfit to rescue Spotty before resuming their search.
In the meantime, thinking Spotty and SuperTed eliminated after crippling their ship, Texas Pete and his crew reach the temple, and after Bulk fails to break the door open, Skeleton is literally scared to pieces by a gorilla. Tex and Bulk laugh at his misfortune, and Bulk triggers the secret switch to open the door to allow them entry. They head inside, and soon locate the treasure room and celebrate getting their hands on the Incan treasure. In the meantime, SuperTed and Spotty arrive outside and prepare to head in, despite their fear and concern of the dark and hearing Tex and his crew's laughter, thinking the temple is haunted.
Soon enough, they find the treasure room themselves, and SuperTed subdues Bulk and Skeleton, but Texas Pete outsmarts SuperTed and Spotty and seals them inside the treasure room with his own henchmen while he escapes with his share of the treasure. Luckily, the gorilla from before reveals himself and provides a secret passage for everyone to escape through, leading to an underground lake where SuperTed, Spotty, and Bulk head in while Skeleton is helped by the gorilla.
In the meantime, Texas Pete reaches his canoe that he originally came in with his crew and makes his escape, taunting SuperTed over how they won't meet again, but is soon horrified when SuperTed surfaces from the river (as the underground lake led back outside to the surface,) and stops him by holding the canoe over his head, whilst joking if Tex is feeling seasick. As Tex moans over his defeat, the gorilla has some fun tickling Tex, causing him to laugh, instead of crying over his capture.
Back at the museum, the building itself is now renovated with the artifacts and treasure from the temple that SuperTed and Spotty brought back, along with having Texas Pete, Bulk, and Skeleton locked up in a cage as part of the exhibit. Their job complete, SuperTed and Spotty head out, with the curator wishing them goodbye and thanking them for their efforts. SuperTed bids him goodbye in return, ending the episode.
